Plagiarism

Plagiarism should be an easy concept to understand. It is the dishonest practice of taking credit for something you didn’t do. Plagiarism is commonly found in website content, where one author will rip off the original content of another author by simply rewording the content or adding phrases here and there. Avoiding plagiarism and giving credit when it is due should be simple, but in this modern day and age when the world has easy access to the internet, plagiarism continues to thrive.

Learning is both gaining knowledge from experts while developing one’s own reasoning and thoughts on a particular subject. When a student, for instance, writes down their knowledge on a given subject, they are expected to give credit to experts who have furthered their understanding and interpretation. The written paper will be considered a form of plagiarism when proper credit for a specific language or idea has not been given.

There are several modern forms to detect plagiarism, one of them being Copyscape. Keep in mind that plagiarism is illegal whether you are a student submitting a written paper or an internet marketer promoting website content. Copyscape is a unique software application which will detect any form of plagiarism on search engines. Plagiarism can be a serious offense and if you are caught copying content from this website, or making money using this content on another site, you will have to face the consequences such as having your account cancelled. Plagiarism can even result in the offender being prosecuted and this is the type of action we will take if deemed necessary.

Keep in mind that original content takes hours and hours of hard work. Whereas, it is easy to look at website content and reword it and pass it off as your own, in just a few minutes. This is why you must take the concept of plagiarism seriously. Anyone caught plagiarizing this website will face dire consequences.

If your site is found to contain duplicate content taken from this site, the first attempt we will make is to contact the offending party. This course of action will be followed by trying to track your domain name supplier and ISP. Remember, the domain name supplier and ISP will not take kindly to the fact that your website under their domain is filled with plagiarized content. This may result in the domain name supplier deleting your account for the time being or retracting your account completely from search engines. Depending on the Terms of Use of the domain name supplier, the offending party will have to face the necessary consequences. Therefore, it is best if you read through the Terms of Use before you attempt to copy any content on this website for your advancement.

If plagiarizing this website continues even after you have been informed, you will be held accountable according to the highest jurisdiction of the law. Now, if you want to avoid any of this hassle and unnecessary consumption of time, our advice is to keep away from plagiarizing our website content and create your own words!
